There is nothing anonymous about this John Doe! This toy is definitely deserving of its own identity.
The John Doe is a realistic vibrating dildo made by Tantus. It is made of their own unique formula of 100% ultra-premium silicone. It is eco friendly, hypo-allergenic, and body safe.
As with many other Tantus toys, packaging is clean and simple. A recyclable white box showcases the toy through clear windows on three sides. It opens easily at the top and contains a clear plastic casing that holds the dildo and bullet. The plastic opens in half for easy removal of the toy.
The John Doe features a shaft that widens and angles slightly as it goes from the base to tip. This dildo feels velvety soft with a matte finish. It’s veiny texture adds stimulation that I could actually feel internally. Measuring 6.5″ in length and 1.6″ in diameter, I find it to be a nice midsize dildo. It is firm enough to keep it’s shape while thrusting, yet flexible enough for the head to touch close to the base with a bit of pressure.
It has a removable one-speed bullet that fits snugly into the base. The hole that holds the bullet has ridged sides that make inserting and removing the bullet easier. It still takes a bit of shimmy action to get it in and out, but it can be done without breaking a sweat (unlike some dildos). The steady vibrations can be felt from base to tip. The bullet requires one 1.5V N battery that comes with the toy at purchase. The bullet is turned on and off by pushing the purple button.
This toy is harness and suction cup compatible, making it another versatile addition to your toy box. Since it is made of silicone, I recommend using a good water-based lubricant. Using silicone lubes on a silicone toy can degrade the material.
I really like the John Doe! The smooth head, coronal ridge, and veiny shaft combined with the amazing soft feel of the silicone created an intimate feel for me. Some silicone toys can feel cold when you first put them to your skin, but this toy felt like a caress. The wide base and firm shaft made it easy for me to keep a grip while thrusting even with all the slipperiness going on.
Cleanup is simple. It can be boiled, bleached, thrown in the top rack of the dishwasher, or wiped down with your favorite toy cleaner. Be sure to remove the vibrating bullet prior to cleaning. There are no crevices for fluids to get stuck in and make cleaning tricky.
