In my quest for the elusive (for me) g spot orgasm, the wonderful folks at Tantus sent me the Slow Drive Long to review. This tall boy also has a shorter counterpart, the Slow Drive.

The Slow Drive Long is a dildo made by Tantus designed for g-spot and prostate play. It is made of their own unique formula of 100% ultra-premium silicone. It is eco friendly, hypo-allergenic, and as with all Tantus products, body safe. It is available in three color choices – silver, midnight purple, and black.

This toy arrives in a recyclable box that opens easily from the top. The dildo is visible through clear plastic on three sides, while the back gives information on the product. The top opens easily and the plastic encased dildo slides out. The sturdy plastic separates with no effort to reveal the toy.

The Slow Drive Long boasts 7″ of insertable length with a diameter of 1.25″. It features a straight shaft with a dramatically curved tip for g-spot or prostate stimulation. It is sleek, smooth, and has a shiny finish. The color has a metallic look to it.

The teardrop shaped base makes it harness compatible and safe for anal play. It is not suction cup compatible. I find that the shape of the base is great for letting you know if the dildo is trying to flip around during play.

For me, I found that the shaft of this toy flexed too much for me to get solid pressure against my g spot. The added length did make it easy to hold during solo play. It ended up feeling like the length and flexibility created an awkward balancing act of trying to keep the curve against my g spot. I feel like the Slow Drive would be more effective for me. I do think this toy would be well suited for solo play or harness use by someone who is heavier, as the length would allow it to reach the g spot well.

As with all silicone toys, I recommend using a quality water-based lubricant. Sliquid is my personal favorite!

Clean up is super simple with this sleek design. There are no cracks or crevices for lube or body fluids to get stuck in. It is boilable, bleachable, and dishwasher safe (top rack with no soap). It can also be cleaned with antibacterial soap and water or a toy cleaner.

Pros:

  • body safe material
  • available in two different sizes
  • harness compatible
  • teardrop shape of base gives good grip & makes sure it doesn’t flip around during play
  • easy clean up

Cons:

  • flexes too much for strong g spot stimulation

Score: 7 out of 10 (overall this is a well made, body safe dildo…)

Great review, I was considering this toy, but I want one that is stiff and not flexible.
