Let me just say that I love that Tantus has created uncircumcised dildos! I could totally get on my soapbox here about society’s warped views on “normal and natural” but I will spare you for now. The Uncut #1 and #2 are definitely refreshing to see in the dildo world.
The Uncut #2 is an uncircumcised dildo made by Tantus. Since most dildos are made to appear circumcised, this is a rare gem. It is made of Tantus’ own unique formula of 100% ultra-premium silicone. As part of Tantus’ Dual Density O2 line, meaning it’s core is made of firm silicone and it’s outer layer is made of a softer (squishier) silicone. It is body safe, eco friendly, and hypo-allergenic. You have three colors to choose from – cream, cocoa, and mocha.
Like most of Tantus’ toys, the Uncut #2 comes in a recyclable box that contains a clear plastic insert holding the toy. The contents are clearly visible from the front of the box and come out easily. In my eager haste to get my hands (and let’s be honest, vagina) on this dildo, I didn’t get a picture of it in the box. If you are dying to see similar packaging, you can check out my review of the Acute HERE.
The Uncut #2 measures 1.6″ in diameter and has an insertable length of 6.4″. The shaft is tapered slightly at the base, widening toward the tip. The end of the dildo is the foreskin covering all but about a 1/2″ of the exposed glans. The tip even has ridges for the urethral opening. It features realistic ridges and veins, and has a matte finish. This material does pick up dust and hair quickly.
When I squeeze it, the shaft has a slight squish or give to it, but maintains a solid shape. With a little pressure, it flexes all the way in half.
It’s base is not completely flat on the bottom, making it a little wobbly when I tried to stand it up for pictures. This didn’t effect it during play though. It is harness compatible but doesn’t have the hole in the base to work with the suction cup. I noticed some small indentations on my Uncut #2 that Tantus’ website explains as “normal for production” due to the process used to create the skin-like feel. They appear to be purely cosmetic.
Do I love it?
I personally really enjoy the Uncut #2. The O2 material warmed up and felt pretty natural compared to the slick, harder silicone toys. The firmness of the core makes it comfortable and steady during play. The outer layer does cause a bit of drag and requires amble lube. I recommend using a quality water-based lubricant, though you may be able to get away with a water/silicone hybrid lube.
Cleanup takes a bit more effort than some of Tantus’ dildos. It is boilable, bleachable, and dishwasher safe (top rack with no soap). It can also be cleaned with antibacterial soap and water or a toy cleaner. The texture and creases require some focused attention to make sure that they get thoroughly clean, so boiling or dishwasher cleaning is recommended. Tantus’ 100% Ultra-Premium Silicone is naturally bacterial resistant.
Score: 8 out of 10
If bigger is better…
If you prefer a larger dildo, be sure to check out the Uncut #1. It is like the Uncut #2’s older brother… a little bigger and slightly wider but made of the same stuff. It measures .15″ wider and 1″ longer, measuring 1.75″ in diameter and 7.45″ in length.
The Uncut #2 was provided to me by Tantus free of charge in exchange for an unbiased review. This is in compliance with FTC guidelines.
